Join the beta, upload a chapter, and have a crossword puzzle ready before your next class. The entire process takes about two minutes.
Beta access is full access. Nothing is locked behind a paywall or gated by usage caps.
Generate as many crosswords as you need across any subject and any grade level. There are no daily limits, no monthly caps, and no per-puzzle fees during the beta period.
Download puzzles as print-ready PDFs, high-resolution images, or shareable digital links. Every format includes a clean student worksheet and a separate answer key.
Save generated puzzles to your personal library. Organize them by subject, chapter, or grade level. Revisit, regenerate, or re-export any puzzle at any time.
Beta users help us build a better product. Here's what that looks like.
Generate at least one puzzle from a real chapter and use it with students. The best feedback comes from actual classroom use, not hypothetical scenarios.
If a clue is wrong, a term is missing, or the grid looks odd, let us know. Bug reports and accuracy feedback are the most valuable contributions a beta user can make.
After a few weeks of use, tell us what feature you wish existed. Our roadmap is built directly from teacher requests — yours will be on the list.
Send a short email to contact@gridlyapp.org with the following:
Your name — so we know who you are.
Your school or institution — so we understand the context.
Subjects you teach — so we can prioritize testing for your discipline.
Grade levels — so the difficulty calibration matches your students.
We respond to every application within one business day with your beta access link. No interview, no waitlist, no hoops.
We built Gridly for teachers, and we need teachers to tell us if we got it right. Every piece of beta feedback shapes the product. This isn't a formality — it's how we build.
